Sour Notes

That man is fully grown

He might be enlightened even with a slice of stunted growth

But his childish ways were well known

Long before they took the oath

Still loving's hit that sour note

When she used to fill every room with her sweet song

He used to tap his feet

Then sing along

With words so sweet their love could get a cavity

Now instead its simply reached its capacity

Still he has the audacity to wonder why it fell apart

She would start with his tone

How the words that came along left cracks in her heart

Even though that alone wasn't enough to dethrone her king

so villainous

Every word would sting

 bit by bit

Until all that was left was bitterness
